Humane Society is celebrating PetWalk with these fundraisers

Dog Wash

The Hawaiian Humane Society will be providing Doggie Washes and Massages for donation on Sunday July 24 and 31 from 12 to 3 pm!
In addition, The Pet Corner, will be having 2 contests at 1 pm at the amphitheater stage – Pet/Owner Look-Alike Contest and Hound Dog Dance Contest – and will feature pet vendor exhibits outside their store.

Dog Training Classes

Led by animal behavior experts Julie DeNucci and Tony Capovilla, dog training classes at the Humane Society dog park will be held at 8 am on July 31, August 7 and August 31. Cost is $60 donation for the one-hour course or $30 additional for the 30 minute extension class focused on tricks and agility. Fun, informative and interactive, this class is limited to 20 participants and not intended for dogs with serious behavior issues. Email jdenucci@hawaiianhumane.org to register.

Humane Investigator Experience

Venture through the streets of Honolulu with a humane investigator. Experience a day in the life of an animal cop as they work to end animal cruelty, educate pet owners and rescue animals. $60 donation. Contact Delvin Honda at 356-2249 or dhonda@hawaiianhumane.org for reservations.
